For when the Ghosts of Maccrage, a hushed away successor chapter of the Ultramarines finds a new planet at the center of a Warp anomaly they also find the key to not just their mysterious past but to a brighter future. Its up to Chapter Master Mara and her rediscovered gene mother Adora to save the galaxy from not just the horrors beyond the stars but the conflicting ideologies within the Imperium itself.

Arriving on Alamarri, they meet Captain Finn Varis of the Imperial Fists and the Forward Engineering Battalion who reveal that the situation might be far more complicated than they would ever imagine as a series of ancient Eldar webway gates are discovered beneath the fortress.
