My name is Diane Almaz. Two years after returning Dialga's Hourglass, I discovered I had a long-lost cousin, Gertrude Platina, and I urged her to go to Camp Arceus with me. She agreed, and we both went to the camp. But the day after we arrived, Zeke Black kidnapped three demi-legendaries and used them in his plan to take over Ultra Space, so Terrence, Lucy, Reggie, Gigi, Kitty, Paul, Gertrude, Aurelia, and I stepped up to save Ultra Space. This is our story.

A breezy summer, trainers on vacation, and two new Pokemon trainers arriving in Alola....What could go wrong? At least, that's what Gladion thought. He, Hau, and their new friends Sun and Moon had been on a expedition through the forest before encountering Tapu Koko, the guardian had means to perform the Trial before it was interrupted by an Ultra Beast, known as Necrozma. With Solgaleo and Lunala on the run, will Ash and his friends be able to protect Alola? Carrying memories of battles they never fought. Because some stories do not end. They fracture. They echo. They return. And this time... Alola may not survive.

Ash, Misty, and Brock left the lighthouse where Bill lived, with Ash still wondering about the Pokémon they saw when in front of them floating screens appearef, but that wasn't happening only to them, no, it was happening across their entire World.
