Short Story . Light & Dark This is just Light & Dark No copying ! 👌

I know they get paid to clean up but being a caretaker or cleaner isn't the most glamorous of jobs and they deserve respect and thanks for the hard 'unskilled' work they do. I remember being at school and kids leaving a mess on purpose claiming they didn't have a responsibility to clean it up 'cos the cleaners will do it, they get paid to', totally taking them for granted. I also have a neighbour who's lovely and works hard as a cleaner. It was little things like that that inspired this one.

"And the next princess is...Chantella Harper." Chantella Harper was about to spend her summer vacation, partly planned, partly unplanned. On her list was Netflix with friends, tank tops and ripped jeans, summer part time jobs, frozen yogurts every late afternoons, the rest, still unplanned. But her summer vacation turned out a bit more different, or let's say totally different than what was on her plans. Right in a middle of a sudden twist of fate, she was involuntarily chosen to be the next princess of Livia, a place controlled and led by royalties. Evelyn is just a girl living with her brother James, her Mom, and her Dad. Her Dad is always at work, but when his boss gives him 4 plane tickets to Dolphin Island, she doesn't sound very happy about it, until she meets her new best friend. What do you think her new friend would be like? WHO do you think her new friend is? A he? Or a she? Or is it just some sort of animal or better yet, her imagination.

We all make mistakes in life, some of us put our trust in the wrong people. We get pushed down, but we learn to dust off our knees and get the hell up. This is the journey of a girl, who has always been misunderstood. She sort out affection from the wrong people until she learnt, that you will only truly feel loved when you learn to love yourself.
