6 years after the events of Spider-Man 3, Peter Parker's life has changed. Now that he has graduated, Peter is working for Dr Connors at the Horizon Labs. Him and MJ are now engaged and life seems to have moved on since the death of his best friend, Harry Osborn. But, Villains start to appear often in the city such as The Vulture. Peter starts to dread dawning the mask, knowing that he'll have to confront these threats, he learns to stay loyal to the people left in his life knowing they could be gone in a flash, and has to keep the city safe from a new threat rising in New York, that is one of the most dangerous Spider-Man has ever had to face off against.

Peter Parker is your average teenager. Or he was. Then he got bit by a radioactive spider and everything started changing - slowly. This is your average Spider-Man story with a twist. Peter Parker doesn't wake up the next day with the abilities of a spider, instead his mutation comes slowly. And even when he thinks he's done mutating, he's not. Bit by bit Peter becomes the Spider-Man that he truly is. Part man. And part spider.

"He knows my name." he says to himself in a panic. "He saw my camera, it had my name on it. He knows my name. He knows I'm Spider-Man." "So do I. I know your name." He quickly turns around at the sound of her voice. "It's Peter Parker." she finishes with a look of pain and anger on her face. He had been lying to her this whole time.

Four-year-old Peter pointed at the television. "What's a fuselage?" "It's the main body of an airplane, with the crew, passengers, cargo..." May trailed off when she noticed exactly what was on the screen. "Peter," she said, swallowing down a wave of fear, "Go get your uncle. Please." "...no survivors have been found on Flight B307GH." After getting bitten by a spider and getting spider powers he decides to become a hero while juggling his normal life and upcoming threats that want to know his identity. Peter Parker continues his life grieving Tony Stark and his Aunt May alone because his best friends Ned and MJ aren't able to remember who he is.
