This takes place right after the comics and one year after the final battle. Fire Lord Zuko is almost assassinated, which causes Team Avatar to come back to the Fire Nation to help smooth things over and to find out who is behind the attack. Many people are angry with the politics of the world surrounding world leaders, and especially with the Fire Nation. However during all of this Sokka and Zuko become very overprotective of each other taking extreme measures to protect one another. Meanwhile everyone in Team Avatar is forced to question their ideologies as well as find out some secrets which are exposed in Legend of Korra. During the search for the criminals Zuko and Sokka grow super close, overcoming many obstacles in the way. But will their luck continue? Zuko already has the entire world questioning the Fire Nation's leadership style and surely the law he eventually decides to pass will definitely put him, Sokka, Team Avatar, and the rest of the world's leaders in great danger. Can they overcome this too? Or will they be forced back in the shadows to obtain world peace? Both Sokka and Zuko need to decide on how much they are willing to sacrifice for each other and their decision will impact the fate of the entire world. Disclaimer: There will be serious topics being discussed, violence, and some sexual activity.

Kaida's life was a messy one. They'd known each other since they were children, so they always treated each other like family. He was the only normalcy she had anymore. But then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Everyone she knew was long gone, war had overtaken the world, and now, it was suddenly disgraceful to have parents from two different nations- especially if one is from the Fire Nation. As if Kaida's world hadn't already been flipped around enough...

Sokka is having trouble figuring himself out. He doesn't know what's going on in his life and it doesn't help that the world needs his help to figure itself out. How can he help the world if he can barely help himself? It all just seems a lot to take in, but thankfully, even though the world is filled with the worst heartbreaks one can imagine, it can also be blessed with the most beautiful miracles anyone has ever seen.

Zuko and Sokka were both only 16 and 17 when their daughter Kai was born. Soon after her birth they both go their separate ways but attempt at coparenting. Only Sokka wants more. And he's not sure how he feels about this Jet guy. This is not the happiest story, may contain triggering content

A sweet boy turned rotten from years of shame and abuse at the hands of the man who ruined Tomoko's life: Fire Lord Ozai. The hunt for the Avatar is on. It's all Tomoko could wish for. For Zuko to finally be happy and regain his honour. That way, things could at least go back to before the Agni Kai. When things were simpler. It would all be ok again, after they find the Avatar and bring him back to the Fire Nation. Right?

WARNING this takes place 3 years after "The Promise", which if you didn't know is the first comic in the Avatar: the Last Airbender comics series, it's 2 years after "Smoke & Shadow", which is the fourth comic, and if you haven't read either of those I would highly advise you NOT TO READ THIS. !!BEYOND THIS POINT IS GOING TO CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE COMICS!! I'm not really gonna summerize this too much, because if I do, I'll spoil it, but basically it's about the gaang and some of the world leaders signing what I call the Harmony Restoration Movement Treaty, which later in the story will explain what exactly it does/is for. It gets signed at the Fire Nation Palace in The Capital City, which in this headcannon, Mai hasn't been to in a year since she went to see how Zuko was doing/check in on him, so when she gets there things start to happen between her and Zuko to say the least. They had both been missing each other's pressence, but neither of them acknowledge that the other person feels the same. Also, if your were wondering, it's called 3 Years because many fans know in the Emerald City Comic Con, one of the comic writers basically confirmed that Mai and Zuko get back together after 3 years, so this is the headcannon for that. This is my first fanfic btw.
