100 years ago, lived the Avatar and his best friend, the water tribe's precious princess, Princess Iyashi. Iyashi was supposed to marry someone from her tribe and Aang was to be sent off for Avatar training. Neither wanted what fate had given them, and so, they ran. They ran away, as if fate couldn't catch up with them. After being encased in ice for 100 years, the pair must now navigate this "new world" with the help of two siblings from the northern water tribe. This book is ONLY for entertainment purposes; ATLA is not my own original work. It may not be accurate to the original ATLA series because I wanted to add my own originality to it. Azula deserved to have a chance to redeem herself and heal I think. She was a super complex character for being only 14. And after reading the comics and watching Legend of Korra, I was definitely not satisfied with the little to no appearances of Azula (not bashing the creators just saying.) so here's my take on it! Doing my best to keep it as authentic to the series as I can :) The story takes place during ATLA comic called "The search". But instead of Zuko taking Azula with the Gaang, he leaves her home. Zutara Zuko is fed up with life. Having a father who is the United Nations most well known human trafficking pimp doesn't do a lot of good for his reputation. All he ever wanted since he was old enough to understand his father's business was to escape, leave, make a new name for himself. So the first chance he gets, he bolts to his Uncle's Upper Ring tea shop in Ba Sing Se. There Zuko meets a blue eyed mystery. The more Zuko gets to know her the more questions he has. She's unpredictable, surprising, and down right infuriating. She is an open book, but for Zuko to understand her language he will have to come to terms with his terrible past. Anger, pain, comedy, love, and so much more is in store for this alternate world of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Disclaimer: I do not own Avatar: The Last Airbender. When Zuko was marred by his father, a scar was not the only side effect. He was rendered completely blind. However, he does not let that hinder him. He still must capture the Avatar! I got tired of developing the same characters for every book, so I'm just using what I already wrote. If you don't care, it goes through Annabeth's death and Percy earning the blessings of all the Olympians. I've invented a whole ass oc plus insane backstory to ship with Bolin bc goddamn they did this king dirty with some of the shipping shenanigans (and writing in general) in this show (which I have FINALLY watched it it's entirety). Throughout the Avatar's life they have many teachers, but some Avatars are blessed with the best teacher they could ever ask for. The Lavisar. The Lavisar occurs once every couple of generations, born of the same element of their Avatar. They are a guide, advisor, and guardian. Granted with wisdom far greater than some spirits, and the courage and strength of an entire army. --- Hekima is an airbender. She's a wildcard and a daredevil, with a side of sarcasm and a hint of wisdom far beyond her years. She mastered airbending at the age of thirteen, two years later, her little brother figure, Aang, mastered it at twelve. They've always been inseparable, hardly ever fought. No matter what anyone did, you couldn't break their connection and their undying love for eachother.
