Percy came home to his and Annabeth's apartment and it was dead silent. Annabeth normally gets home before him so he started to worry. "Annabeth?" He called out, no response. He started looking in all the rooms and he didn't find her until he went into the bathroom. There she was sitting on the floor in a corner crying. No noise, just silent tears running down her cheeks. Nico Di Angelo has suffered a lot in his short life, he never felt appreciated, struggled with self identity, trauma, loss, tons of baggage. At the end of the giant war Nico feels at a loss. Maybe Will Solace and his sunshine happiness will be what Nico needs to finally be happy.
