In a land shaped by lineage and belonging, Padmalekha walks without either. She lingers where she is not expected...among wandering traders, quiet courtyards, and stories that are never written. She listens, learns, and leaves, carrying fragments no one thought to keep. She is received with courtesy, remembered with doubt. For a woman who refuses to stay cannot be easily understood...and knowledge, in the wrong hands, is rarely forgiven. Yet Padmalekha continues, drawn not by defiance, but by something quieter...a need she cannot name, only follow. Until the path she has chosen begins to ask for something in return. And she must decide... What must one lose to truly be free?

Maya Collins is a girl made of deadlines, highlighters, and a future she's mapped out down to the last second. She doesn't have time for distractions, and she certainly doesn't have time for Logan Vance. Logan is the kind of storm you don't survive. As the star of Northwood High's swim team, he's a god in the water and a ghost on land-smelling of chlorine, expensive tobacco, and secrets that could burn the whole town down. He's untouchable, unreachable, and currently failing the one class that stands between him and a scholarship. When the principal forces Maya to tutor him, it's not just a clash of worlds. It's a chemical reaction. Between the sterile silence of the library and the humid, heavy air of the locker rooms, a dangerous game begins. Logan wants to see how far he can push the "perfect" girl before she cracks. Maya wants to find the boy beneath the scars and the cynicism. But in the hallways of Northwood, secrets are currency. And with Amber Thorne-the school's golden girl with a heart of ice-watching their every move, one wrong breath could cost them everything. In a world of static, they are the only thing that feels real. Even if it's a reality that's destined to go up in flames.

Medha Pineapple-Lover is an academically exceeding 7th grader who does not like pineapples (Minus pineapple candy). One day she gets an invitation to The Peer Tutoring Club, and of course she accepts this invitation usually only given to people from 8-12th grade. But, let's be honest here, even though she's passionate, she couldn't teach those sixth graders anything to save her life. WARNING: Includes censored swearing (like this: %#$#) and some uncensored minor cusses (such as crud, son of a gun, brat, ect.). If cussing is triggering for you, I suggest you don't read this. Note: All events, characters, and locations are from the author's imagination or are used fictitiously. All resemblances to real people, events, and locations is entirely coincidental unless stated otherwise. This entire story belongs to the author, and may not be used and/or reproduced in any way, shape, or form without the author's permission. Only on Wattpad. If you find this somewhere else, it is pirated. I just wanna say real quick (thought I have already said quite a bit) that I had made this story with only one year of writing practice. It is low-quality, and I may have accidentally written something offensive in here. Actually, I'm sure in my attempts to make the MC sound naive I also made her sound very offensive to any reader that knows better then her! I know that I miswrote the characters in this book. Their personalities don't make much sense, and could be labeled offensive to those who understand what I was originally trying to write. For that, I am sorry. I'm really just keeping the book up here to credit the people that helped me.

Sometimes the hardest battle isn't enough to change a heart, sometimes all the war and blood in the world isn't enough to shift a single destiny. Sometimes a simple touch is enough to break down the strongest of barriers, sometimes a single word is enough to make the world quake. Sometimes the most reaching of changes comes in the form of a little boy sad enough, strong enough, and kind enough to make friends with a monster. Sometimes one change makes waves. Naruto has been hearing the rumbling growl in the back of his head for as long as he can remember. He's seven when he tries to talk to it for the first time. He's the dead last, the failure at everything, so he doesn't actually expect to succeed. And when he's suddenly standing, knee deep in murky water and face to face with a demon, he has no idea what to expect. As it turns out, the world could use something unexpected. In which Naruto discovers the real meaning of the word monster, Sasuke discovers power and strength and learns the difference between them, and Sakura discovers that being herself is not as selfish as she thought. Where Kakashi learns to fight again for what he loves, and Obito never stopped.

Jazzmyne Castro has a stick up her ass. Well, at least that's what her fellow high school students say about her, though never to her face. Apparently, society, or more specifically the conventions of social interaction, dictates that part of being a decent person is being sensitive enough not to place insult on someone who has suffered a loss of a loved one recently. One must wait for a couple of years, which is, at the least, 2 years. Jazzmyne is well aware of this description of her though she never addresses this. Maybe she simply doesn't care enough, but most likely she just can't deny it. However, she'd much prefer if they use the word haughty, no- Hauteur. Yes, that's more like it.

This is not your typical self-help book. It's not written by a millionaire, a morning routine influencer, or someone who figured it all out. It's written by someone who tried to cram a semester's work the night before the exam. Who got caught cheating. Who spiraled, gave up, tried again, got left behind, then tried again - but this time with less self-hate. This book is for anyone who feels like life moved on without them. Who's tired of chasing motivation like it's a lost lover. Who's constantly stuck between "I want better" and "I'm too tired to try." Through brutally honest stories, sharp humor, and emotional gut-punches, you'll meet someone who's been there: broke, ashamed, tired of pretending to be okay - but not done yet. This isn't about quick fixes. It's about asking better questions, facing your mess, and starting anyway. Ugly. Late. Unmotivated. But honest. Because maybe the people who look like they've figured it all out... are just better at hiding their spiral. And maybe being "behind" doesn't mean you're failing - maybe it means you're still becoming.

With a countdown on their wrist to tell them the exact moment when they will meet the love of their life, Alice and Luke wait in anticipation to meet their person. Standing at the bus stop everyday, little did they know that they were each other's destiny. But as all love stories goes, this is going to be one for the books - - - - - This is my first piece that I have written so please give me a lot of critiscism and pointers on what to improve on. I am writing and editing as I go so it might not be the best read at its first glance. This idea for the book is from my friend, so I dedicate this book to Julianna Lalik 💕 I hope you enjoy and stay intrigued, much love <3

Stress - noun - a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or demanding circumstances. Many people get stressed over things in jobs or school such as a report that is due in soon or a upcoming exam. People tell you that you need to calm down, it's not here yet so why worry. I used to be one of these people and now, now i'm the one stressing. But not because of any of those things, I'm stressed about how I will be able to keep paying for my fathers treatment, how I can keep my mother sane, how I can protect myself from falling for the billionaire at the same time. Especially because he was the reason this all started.

Some kids need a leash. Some need a crib. All of them need someone who won't let go. In a quiet, ivy-clad house at the edge of town, Jake and Sarah Carter run Second Chances, a last resort for the kids no one else can handle. Jake, a former runaway turned master of unconventional methods, believes in the art of control-whether it's folding a diaper with surgical precision or teaching a greyhound to weave through agility poles. Sarah, with her dancer's grace and uncanny intuition, tempers his severity with warmth, turning chaos into connection. When Fin, a fiercely independent boy with a knack for bolting, and Theo, a fragile four-year-old clinging to silence and security, arrive on their doorstep, Jake and Sarah face their greatest challenge yet. Through diapers that double as armor, late-night Lego builds, and the unbreakable bond of a rescue greyhound named Comet, they guide the boys toward trust, stability, and the promise of a forever home. But as Fin's walls begin to crumble and Theo's words start to flow, Jake and Sarah must confront their own fears: What happens when the kids they've fought so hard to anchor are ready to sail on without them? The Art of Holding On is a heartwarming, heart-wrenching tale of love, resilience, and the messy, beautiful work of building a family.
