She studied nursing, as she doesn't know what she likes during those days, she became a registered nurse soon after and went to Germany for greener pastures as soon as got her license. She's been doing great for the last 5 years but applying for a permanent residency in Germany is just complicated. Sean was born and raised in Australia and have been staying there for as long as he can remember. Having an Australian father and Filipino mother has its perks. Though, he never set foot in the Philippines he had once practice some Filipino values, their food and some basic Tagalog words during his childhood but as he grew older he somewhat forgotten about it. Flore (Camilla's mom) and Vic (Sean's mom) met during the 80s, when they were freshmen of their college years and been friends ever since. Even before graduation, Vic was already traveling back and forth with her then-boyfriend Rick to Australia and soon after graduating they wed and moved permanently there. Flore, on the other hand, met Lars. Lars is a neighbor, that's smitten by her and pursue Flore for an extended period and finally wed some time after. Even though both women lived a continent apart, that didn't stopped their friendship and continues to contact each other. -*-*-*-*-*- "If you're going to take part on this, whatever this is, you should be fully committed." "Just so you know, I only agree because your mom and my mom are best friends. And ever since my parents divorced, I haven't seen my mom that happy and excited again. This whole scheme better work out." These were the words of two people who's lives changed, completely, after they agreed to their mothers shenanigans.

I love her . I think. People always say when you`re young, you don`t know what love is. Truth is , they`re probably right, in the wrong way. The love we know as youth is not sensible, it is not based on stability or reason. We know the purest form of love , the kind of love where nothing is impossible and nothing is permanent. Love without obligation. We love simply because we have so much love to give, we pour our happiness into crumby bands and pictures while we still have all of our hair and half of our dignity. So while we can, while we are free, we will love, gracefully, carelessly. Intimate with our deepest thoughts and swift with our tongues. We will spend our youth "not knowing what love is" and spend our last years on earth wishing we could have it back.

"You--you're a vampire...." he whispered, as if he couldn't believe any of it. I could feel my lips forming a half-smile. I leaned in to him, giggled and whispered. "Honey, I'm afraid you're very wrong about that since I'm Satan's daughter." The first thing he did was run away. Like he really could. ************************* Sisters Henrietta and Catherine Mallory goes on an ultimate journey to the surface of the Earth. After tons of rejection they've received the minute they walked on Earth, it was clear that they didn't belong. It's a good thing they're too ready for this kind of thing. Well how couldn't they be if their Dad is Satan?

This is a story about unconventional individuals. It might seem somewhat funny that a word whose root and etymology derive from "indivisible" ends with "dual". This reflects the very chaotic and uncertain nature of all things. The individuals depicted here often struggled to face, embrace, or accept their own duality. This is a story about travels. One could ask which story is not, and that would be a very fair question. So let me rephrase: this is a story about unexpected travels. The kind where the destination is unknown, the outcome unpredictable, and the events uncertain. It is also a story about flying away. Flying away deeper and further into the silky comfort of a blank yet doubtful future, which can only be better than the mistakes of the past. Why do people start travelling? There are as many answers as there are individuals, if not twice as much. A dichotomy between the various reasons easily emerges, even though they often combine into a weird blend: necessity or desire, compassion or revenge, regrets or hope. I often remember the story of my friend E. as he used to tell me, before he was driven away by his own obsessions. - Updated weekly

I put down poetry for two years because at the time I was only writing it because I had to for school. Two years later though, and through mountains of heartache and pain, I began to write and write and write mountains upon mountains of poetry. I never appreciated it before, but now as I write these poems, I find that I fall more and more in love with the language. I should warn, these poems will not be entirely contemporary. They will read more narratively as that's just how I like to write, but there will be poems that will fit the norm sprinkled in, so brew some fresh tea and enjoy.

The odds have always been stacked against Finn Grainger, he used to think that he had no choice and that the cards he's been dealt meant that he had no hope. No hope for a future like other kids had because who even was he to think that he had a chance, a kid on the streets, a screwed up, slightly lost kid on the streets. Things started to change though, a new beginning, off the streets for the year before his future was determined was a lifeline. A thought that maybe he could be as good as everyone else as he realised that all he had to do to achieve that was pretend that he was the same as them. Although sometimes you need to be yourself to unlock the true strength that lies within.

Even though I am certainly not a fully fledged writer (yet) I'm here to create an environment for my conflicted mind. An Eunoia is something one (myself) is attempting to obtain, although it is a difficult skill that'll take a lot of hours. Writing about my worries that may very well fraudulent. Is what I'm thinking truly what I'm feeling or is it a safety net for my own conscience. Everything I just wrote is complete and utter worthy of being in a bin, but maybe if I by some miracle caught your attention (thank you) please read my short story. I am always open to constructive criticism. Thank you. (The picture on the cover isn't mine, but I sadly can't find the one who took the picture)
