As we all think Katniss Everdeen and the districts won the rebellion and the hunger games has ended...or did they. The hunger games didn't go on for the 76th year because Katniss was still alive. Katniss had now died because of Paylor who betrayed Katniss and the 78th hunger games will be hosted by Paylor. What will this years twists be? Who will go on? "I love the sound of the rain. The feel. Even the taste. Most people find rain dreary, but when I hear the inviting pit pats on my roof, I know that happiness is right outside of my front door. Rain is my lullaby at night and my comfort in tough times. Rain is more than just weather, rain is my friend. Rain is the splish that lands on your forehead, that tells you "spring is here." Rain is the bouncing of water, but not just the bouncing. Rain is playing. Rain is jumping and leaping excitedly--and sometimes angrily. Rain is spilling onto my skylight right now, soothing me into a zen state of mind. Clearing my problems--diminishing them. Rain is the one that tells me "it's okay, I'm here." When rain is here, and it feels like lightning is striking me even though there is no lightning, rain makes the crack of thunder fade away. Rain makes me dance and sing and cry and every other possible thing I could do. Rain makes me contemplate, rain makes me romantic, rain makes me smile. Pit pat. The rain taps steadily on the skylight, slowly growing faster and faster. The sound evolving from a distant pitter patter to loud footsteps, now distinctly banging over and over, faster and faster, quicker and quicker. The rain is not just any of those things. The rain is me, and I am the rain."

Chevy Lynch is quite possibly the most unpopular girl that has ever existed in the history of things existing. Which is a long time. And a lot of socially awkward people. (Maybe it's because she shares a name with a car brand) While Chevy has spent years at the bottom of the high school food chain, everything changes when she finds Antasha Bethke (the most actually popular and physically blessed girl who has ever existed in the history of existing, which is still a long time) sobbing in the stall of a bathroom. All Chevy wants is for people to stop stepping on her, while Antasha's requests are a bit more unusual. But Antasha promises to make Chevy popular if Chevy will honor them. Oh, and she's probably the meanest creature to every be incarnated into a tiny blond body. But she needs help. And the two might be messed up enough to help each other. And if Antasha and her insane requests and murderous attitude isn't enough, there's a bigger problem. River freaking Jameson.
