Lisa Haydon has been a private investigator since the ripe age of twenty-two, taken in by the head of the most powerful private investigation firms in Toronto - Hunter Simmons. Until the age of thirty, she had been partnered with David Maddox; being four years her senior and having more experience in the field, he looked out for her in what had been considered a male's world, and became her close friend and confidant. After eight years of being partners, however, David left the firm without any explanation. It wasn't until just recently when David sent Lisa a long overdue message, asking to meet at their favourite coffee shop so he could explain himself to the one person who had his back through everything, and anything. A short story I made just trying to show that our eternal drive to improve will never leave us satisfied

There never seems to be enough time to do what we need to do. From finishing things at work, running errands, or never wanting a date to end. There never seems to be enough time. (this is all proof read by me, and sometimes I miss things so if there is an error I apologize in advance. This is also going to be added to periodically).

In this (I guess one shot?) I give my personal views on the subject of Soul-mates. I wrote it as my journal entry for the #EveryDayMovie contest, and although it may (or may not... *shrug*) fit the criteria of what the journal entry was supposed to be, I hope you will give it a chance. But if I am disqualified, well at least I tried. Now, I want to let everyone know in advance that this is all my personal opinion, and that if I somehow offended someone, I am truly sorry, because that was not my intention. But if you don't like my opinion, please don't leave me 5000000 comments about how my views are wrong whatever, just do me a favor and close out of the book :) because like I said this is just my personal view on the matter. This... one shot... does fit the "under 500" criteria, and is around 350 words (give or take), but the rest of the journal part of the entry may differ from what I wast supposed to say... (Oh well) and I just wanted to let anyone who may possibly read this know that. okay, my rambling (ranting?) is done now :D read along, and have a good morning/ afternoon/night/whatever time of the day it is for you! -MarilynJen
