Oneshot based on the song In a Week by Hozier (ok, fair warning, im bad at summarizing and i promise that the actual story is much better than whatever i bullshit here.) Alona and Ian had met over the internet, when he moved to her school in freshman year, they were inseparable. Now it's the end of high school and off to college, Everything was going great until Alona bumped into an old crush at the mall. Now trying to balance love and her schoolwork and regular life, Alona is thrown into a tailspin of questions, and she tries to find the answers.

It feels like I've lived my life up until now in a monochrome. And I didn't mind. Until I realized that maybe there's more to the world than blacks and grays and fathers that don't know how to be parents and kids who don't understand who you are. So I'm starting new, and I'm looking for colors. And I get the feeling that maybe, just maybe, I can share the colors I find with someone else so that their world can be just as vivid and bright as mine is sure to be. "Harper?" A voice says from behind us. I'm frozen in place, my breath catching in my throat. I haven't heard that voice in so long. I turn around, looking at a familiar face. Without any warning, his head dipped low and pecked me on the cheek, catching the tiny corner of my mouth. When he came back up, his eyes snapped open to reveal the mischievous, playful look embedded there. After my shock had dissolved, I glared hard in response to what had just occurred. Pushing me even further, he wiped his thumb along the corner of his mouth that had been smudged with a little of my shimmery, clear lip gloss. His eyes narrowed at me as his thumb slowly traveled across his bottom lip. Despite my annoyance, my lips parted as I watched his movement. His gaze was unnerving. He looked at his thumb for a moment, then licked it to my astonishment. He bit the corner of his lip and smirked as he looked up in thought. After a second, his eyes flicked back to mine. "Melon?" He questioned. Heat crept up my neck, my cheeks and ears on fire. His eyes darkened. If he was referring to the flavor of my lip gloss... He was correct.

I'm still stuck in Cordial with no hope of getting out. I do have powers, but I'm not strong enough to get back home. Besides, a war has started. I am the last conveyor. I am being tracked by the enemy. I need to help. (not edited. Thanks for reading:)
