Bruce King stumbles across information regarding a secret government project that was terminated almost ten years ago, however the information suggests that a child escaped from the project and has never been found. Bruce not knowing who else has gained this information knows he must find the girl who got away before anyone else finds her and puts her abilities to mis-use. He sends his most trusted agent Jack Sawyer, to find the girl and bring her in safely.

the nineteen year old Joyce is, to simplify it, a spy. even though the sarcasm runs through her veins, she is a good person. the twenty year old Calum is, to simplify it, a band member who used to be a drug addict. even though he seems like he's perfect and kind, he really is not. the group of drug dealers are chasing Calum and the group of spies are chasing the group of drug dealers.

16-year-old Australian pop-star Diane Summers is living the dream. Nothing could have gone wrong for her. Until her mother disappears under mysterious circumstances and the world as they know it is about to be destroyed. After an attack at one of her shows, the butterfly necklace she wears seems to be the target, along with her, Diane investigates herself, curious and desperate, and tries to reveal the truth about what is going on and find the truth about her past, curious about why anyone would be willing to kill for her and her necklace. Going undercover in the ASIS, Diane is sent to find out what is going on with the rumors of a machine that could change the course of the world they knew, her own goals in mind as she gets deeper and deeper into cover. Sacrifices are needed in order for Diane to survive and to succeed in her quest to find her mother, uncover her past, and to save the world that they know. But how far with Diane go? Is she willing to give up everything to succeed with her mission and get her life back? How far will she go to get answers? One choice could change her life forever. It could change the course of history. It could be lethal.
