Rework of the Brokentale story since one of the other creators is M.I.A. and the other person isnt interested in Brokentale anymore. AI was used to correct grammar. AI was not used to create any parts of the story or the character designs.

I was hesitant to post this at first, as Undertale had died down considerably since its release in 2015, but this story is precious piece of an era when life was better.

Ebbot with our dad, back before mom left. a hiking trip... long story short, the two of us snuck away from our dad and strayed off the trail. we found a hole. a hole deeper than anything we'd ever seen before. the wind ramped up, as it the wind blew at a whipping speed this high up the mountain, and my hairclip came off, landing just at the ledge. my sibling ran to grab it for me. but as they stood there, the ledge cracked. they tossed it towards me as they fell. that was the last time i ever saw them. dad didn't believe me. the police didn't believe me. it was just a folktale, after all. maybe i was just a child with an overactive imagination. but the hole is still there. and i'm going to go back to that mountain. and i'm going to find my sibling. even though nobody is said to return from mt. ebbot, i have to try. it's all i can hope for.
