The youngest of King Triton's daughters, uma is a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. Longing to find out more about the world beyond the sea, uma swims to the surface and falls for the dashing Prince Harry. Following her heart, she makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to experience life on land. As uma begins her journey to get her prince she also learns that family history isn't at all of what it seems.

While she was swimming in a river that would be deadly to humans, she saved a young girl, Ciri, who she quickly bonded with. She thought she would never get to interact with humans again until she made a deal with a kind Sea Witch who traded Anabelle's gills and tail for air-breathing lungs and legs. Now, she has to make use of her new legs. If she can't find someone to fall in love with her in 14 days, she will die. Will Geralt be the man that saves her life, or will Anabelle's father convince Geralt to make her return to Nereia, unknowingly sending her to an untimely grave.

After the death of the Village Head, estranged cousins Mandeeq and Shermake reunite at their Grandfather's funeral where their fathers fight over who would be the Heir to the village. With tensions running high and the greed of Humanity leading only to ruin, Mermaids who had once bestowed gifts upon the Village people now revoke them by dragging the Village to the bottom of the Ocean. Being the only two left standing with the help of a Mermaid who is shunned by the underwater society, it's up to Mandeeq and Shermake to save their family and their village from themselves, and the mermaids who seek to take back their gifts.

You read from the point-of-view of Kairi Aspido, a girl who lives deep under the surface of Murigen Ocean, in the ruins (or city!) of Kendratome. One day, Kairi and her closest friend meet uninvited visitors from above the surface. They work together to figure out a way to bring those visitors back home, but along the way, Kairi and company run into even bigger problems. Problems that reveal there is much more beneath the ocean than everyone thinks.
