War has broken out between the countries of Tilsman and Vandesha, but their war does not dare spill into the Faerie Forest that divides much of the two countries. Despite the fear both countries hold for the forest, it becomes necessary for several soldiers to brave the dangers of the forest. Within the ancient depths there lies a danger far greater than any posed by elves, goblins or even dragons. An ancient evil is stirring, and if it awakens, it will make the war's devastation look like child's play. It's up to Blauethid, Diernked, Puorsippa, Rentalvi and Gangagorit to defy this ancient evil and put it back to sleep before it can enter the world.
