There are a lot of made up things that wouldn't make any sense in Tolkien's world, but I'm making them up anyway. Don't stress out and throw your device across the room if I make it all confusing pleeaassee. I will try to explain everything as clear as I can. Aaand on top of that, this whole place other than Middle Earth is pretty new to me. You can call me out on huge mistakes if it makes you happy. The Undying Lands sound amazing to write about!! Anyways, thanks for taking your time to read this long author's note. Here's the lowdown! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cadance Laurel lives in Ossarya, a hidden, protected, unknown place in the Undying Lands (Valinor) (Aman). It hides in the Pelori Mountains, where long ago Amanyar Elves passed near. These elves were to go to the center of Aman, but some didn't make it. There was a time when one group lost the rest of the elves, taking shelter in the Pelori Mountains near a kingdom, the kingdom of Mal. The lost elves, or the "Alman" they called themselves, were soon pronounced dead, and over the years, forgotten. The rest made it to the center of Aman and could be recognized by their ears, which jutted out from their heads. Larger than any other elven ear. This gave them an identity, as well as an unbelievably good sense of hearing. These lost elves, which could be seen with ears as well (but weren't, as they were never seen or known). About half decided to try and finish their long forgotten journey , but failed to make it in the right direction. They had ended up in Helcaraxe, a frozen nightmare, where they froze to death. The ones in the mountains, terrified of a lone survivor's news, stayed hidden there. They hoped for a bright future of elves, surviving and thriving in the wilderness. Cadance, being one of them.

*COMPLETED*The War of the Ring is in the past. But not all the Orcs were destroyed. Now they are attacking Greenwood (formerly Mirkwood). Legolas, thrown into Kingship, is trying hard to fight them off. But his belief in himself wanes. Aragorn, Gimli, and Gandalf have come to help Legolas, but will they be able to save him from himself.
