Parentless with a darker complexion in the early 1800's is a teenage boy by the name of Anoki. Living life day by day in a wretched orphanage by the name of Shepard Home. One day he overhears the owner outside, ranting to a friend about selling the place and sending the kids to work in factories. At this point he knows he has to make his escape, and so he does. Late at night he sprints out as fast as he can only to find out the world around him isn't as he thought it would be, instead he is greeted with a world full of, anger, violence, selfishness and starvation. But he gets the help from spirits that guide him along his path to find a place he can call home.
