It's 1896 in a small and quaint town called, "Rombook," when on a particularly gastly day, four children go down to a pond to get away from all of the troubles of the world. Each one becomes more than friendly to the other after a single day of roaming the area with a large vast plain of imagination to keep them entertained. The three girls and singular boy have no idea that on that uneventfully dreadful day, they had found their soulmates, nor did they expect to find them near the cattails down at the Broken Grove Pond.
