A gripping story of trust, love, and the dangerous secrets that threaten to unravel everything. April thought her life was held together by invisible threads-trust, love, and loyalty woven into the fabric of her world. Her father was her anchor, the steady force keeping her grounded while Dylan, her younger brother, drifted into chaos, and Lucas, her best friend, disappeared without a word. But when her father dies, those threads begin to fray. Dylan is slipping further into darkness, Lucas has returned with motives April can't quite read, and Camille Harrington-a woman shrouded in mystery-looms over them all, pulling Dylan into her dangerous orbit. Caught in a web of secrets and fractured loyalties, April struggles to untangle the ties that bind her to the people she loves. Enter William-a stranger with quiet resolve and unexpected warmth-steps into her life just as the storm begins to close in. Torn between Lucas' protective instincts, Dylan's unraveling, and William's quiet strength, April must navigate the fragile lines between trust and deception, love and betrayal, survival and truth. But the deeper she digs, the more she realizes-some secrets aren't just dangerous. They're deadly. As the past resurfaces and long-buried truths begin to crack open, April must confront what it will take to hold onto the people she loves-before the threads that connect them all finally break.

A Ghost Light is a light left on a stage in an otherwise darkened theatre. Standing alone, it offers light to the last ones there and the first to arrive. Casting a glow to light the way for the brave souls who venture into the dark void of the empty house, illuminating a few vacant seats, and showing you the stairs for safe passage down and out. He's a big time movie star, landing role after role, always playing the good guy, the hero, the one left standing, and is a reluctant role model for many because of this, but he feels alone. Alone on a darkened stage, just waiting for some trap door to open and let him out of the spotlight for just a second. She's the somewhat mousy writer who wrote the book, the book that was so successful it is being turned into a TV series, which she has also been asked to write, and may just have a starring role in, to boot. But she used a false name on the title for a reason, she doesn't like all of the attention, the only way she was brave enough in the first place was to become her own ghost writer. Trying to get a bit of a freer schedule, James Nelson takes this job without much research, not thinking he might be also taking on the handful of a writer and costar he gained in the process, not to mention what is left unspoken between them. Trying to find spare time just became a realization that time isn't what matters, it's what you occupy it with.

"Chords of the Heart" is an engaging narrative that weaves the story of Maria, a university student in Los Angeles whose life is deeply marked by the music of the band Stray Kids. With a passion that transcends the barriers of fandom, Maria finds in the group's music not just an escape from daily pressures but also a source of inspiration and emotional connection. The story begins with Maria's feverish anticipation for the Stray Kids concert, an event she believes to be a distant dream turned into reality. Her journey is catapulted into the extraordinary when she is unexpectedly chosen to go on stage, leading to an emotional encounter with Jeongin, one of the band members, which becomes a pivotal moment in her life. As the story unfolds, we follow Maria as she navigates the complexities of her emotions and the vast world of social media, where she shares her experience and connects with other fans. An enigmatic comment from someone identified only as "J" triggers a series of events that challenge Maria's reality, prompting her to question the nature of connection in a digitally interconnected world. "Chords of the Heart" is more than a story about music and fandom; it is a deep exploration of the ways in which art affects us, the quest for authenticity, and the beauty of human connections forged under unexpected circumstances. With richly developed characters and a narrative that captures the essence of the human experience, the book is a testament to the transformative power of music and the lasting impact a single moment can have on our lives. This novel is a tribute to passion, dreams, and the relentless pursuit of meaning in an increasingly connected world, where the distance between idol and fan can be shortened by a simple chord of a song. "Chords of the Heart" promises not only to entertain but also to touch the hearts of its readers, inviting them to reflect on the connections that shape their own lives.
