As the friendship blossomed between Alice and Damian and the days seemed not so dark anymore, so still lingered the true colors deep in them. But one night, everything changes. Under the devastating effect of black magic, Damian loses his footing. In an uncontrollable fit of rage, he casts an unforgivable spell on Alice, breaking their bond with a blow as violent as the spell itself. Hospitalised separately, Damian is consumed by the horror of what he has done, while Alice struggles between fear, sadness and incomprehension. When the time comes for confrontation, the wounds are too deep. Alice, despite her sincere affection for Damian, cannot ignore what he became that night. As for Damian, torn between his destructive instincts and his silent affection for her, he does not know how to respond to his own faults. The trust they had built collapses, not because of a lack of affection, but because some wounds are irreparable. In solitude and regret, each must learn to move forward again, carrying within them the painful echoes of a relationship they believed to be indestructible. Without even trying Johnny ends up right in the middle of everything, which results in him making a new friend in Harry Potter, and finding out a whole lot about the world and, surprisingly, Evan Lysacek. Daphne commits a heinous crime and somehow ends up in Azkaban. After withstanding the horrors in the infamous prison she miraculously finds herself a student at Hogwarts, under mysterious circumstances. Disclaimer: This story is a retelling of the Harry Potter Universe. I've tried to stay as close to the main story as possible, but there are some changes. It's a Mattheo Riddle fanfic, though slowburn. The first contact between the two doesn't take place until chapter 9. If that's not your speed, consider skipping this fic.
