Nat asked. "Yes you do. Which one of you bit her?" He questioned looking at each and one of us. "We didn't bite her." I said confused. "Yeah, Darren did why?" Nat joined in. "Darren.. I forgot about him. Why did he bite her?" With that question we all looked at each other. Not knowing what to say, we shrugged and looked at the girl then back to our Uncle Zack. "We didn't know the reason why, but he was just having fun with her. Then all of a sudden all of that happened." Kyle explained. Uncle Zack thought and thought. He looked at the girl. It's been awhile since all of us were silent. "Xander. You use to know Darren, why do think he would do this?" Tyler asked. I looked at the girl and at everyone else, "is it possible to have a human as a mate.?" I questioned. --------- What will happened next? I saw his face fall before he let go of my face and turned his back towards me. "I want to be with you," he said softly, "but you have to want to be with me too." He then started to walk towards the door. "You don't understand!" I yelled before he could leave. The tears were rolling down my face and I didn't try and stop them. "I don't understand," he said, his voice starting to sound angry. "I don't understand." "No, you don't understand!" "Sophia! I was your husband's best friend!" He yelled, reminding me of the truth. "I lost him too! I understand everything!" I stayed silent and my head fell. "I was there when he died, I was right next to him. I couldn't save him! I understand your pain!" he paused, "I might not have known him for very long but we were still best friends and I still cared about him! I do understand the pain."
