This poem contains, part of conversation with her.

A sudden gust rattled the window, and his reflection wavered. The rain streaks carved trails across the glass, making it seem as though his own reflection was crying. An absurd thought. He never cried. Why should he?

In an attempt to move on from his past mistakes, a young man finds solace in writing poems to his lost muse. As time goes by, the boy learns of new love and befriends someone that finally helps him heal his heart. However, good feelings do not last forever as he discovers his affection is deft and unrequited, and his friend is no longer there for him. With deception and angst filling the boy's heart, hope seems eternally lost, and as he descends into a spiral of negative thoughts, love is no longer his light but his damnation in a vicious cycle of Heart's Betrayal.

I'm not much of a poet but I decided to express a few feelings I have had about some of the jobs I have had in this sonnet. Always try every day to build the life you want to one day live and some day you might just be living it. I hope you enjoy! If you do, then please leave a kind word or two! :)
