This is a YA fantasy novella, written for ONC 2026. Sixteen-year-old Kathrin has grown up within the walls of a castle always locked in winter, under the care of her adoptive father, the winter lord, and she's never wanted anything more. Then Kathrin finds a unicorn shivering in the snow, and forms a magical bond with the creature. She must leave the castle to train with other unicorn riders and learn to wield her new magic: that of all four seasons. not only is the forest kingdom outside her home too warm and too colorful, but the other riders see her beloved wintry father figure as a villain, a dark lord who stole the magic of winter for himself and had to be locked away in a castle. As Kathrin struggles to carry out a secret mission for the winter lord, she learns more about his past and questions everything she's ever known.

Inspired by a dream and the ONC 2026 contest, this novella takes you into the incredible world of Altara, and the story of a mermaid who lives there and is about to change the history of her world to save someone she loves. Just a book of drawing I've done. Not the best but they are pretty good. I have indicated in the chapter title if the drawing falls under the sad category so nobody has to see it if they don't want to. The beginning of this book may not have the best drawing but I promise it gets better as you go through the chapters.Requests are allowed but how long it will take to post it, i'm not sure as it depends how busy I am. Do give this book a try and enjoy! Update: They really aren't that good but hey we all have to start somewhere. I guess this was my start. I'll improve in time.
