He moved impossibly closer so that I could feel his warm breath on my face; “Now how would I be able to keep an eye on you from a school 15 minutes away?” Moving his face so close that his whisper tickled my ear, he asserted “You are mine.” His possessiveness made my heart ache understanding he was the last person who would ever love me. After Lizzie's mom left her dad and her Lizzie immediately starts seeing Brad, the typical badboy. Liz realizes too late that she is taking the wrong approach. She transforms herself into her school’s newest badass after dumping Brad. Vowing to keeping away from anyone, especially bad boys, Lizzie is being quite the hypocrite. But she soon finds out stereotypes are neither protection nor always true. As Lizzie’s mom comes back into the picture, Lizzie is under more stress then she could have ever guessed. Why are people suddenly taking interest in the previously goody-two-shoes while she’s trying to push everyone away? Lizzie is learning to let go of everyone she cares about. The story revoles around the power couple that stumble upon a little child while fooling around on the island , not thinking much they adopt the child unaware of her past and her tendencies that led her there in the first place .

The story is about a girl who helps her friend learn more about a guy she likes. But while gathering information, the girl herself starts to develop feelings for him. Caught between her loyalty to her friend and her growing attraction, she faces tough choices about friendship and love, leading to a journey of self-discovery and unexpected twists.
