Sad Sundays is my weekly space to share melancholic poetry, words that help me navigate the stillness, the weight, and the quiet storms of recovery. Each Sunday, I post a new piece that I've written, using poetry to process my journey through detox and rehab, to face the difficult parts of healing, and to find meaning in the silence. Every poem is written by hand with help from the Rhymezone platform. This series is as much for me as it is for anyone who finds comfort in knowing they're not alone on their gray days. I will eventually try to tie most of my work together into a larger piece, but first and foremost, this will function as a collection of my writings while I am going through detox. As soon as she was old enough to walk properly, she was taught how to act like a respectable person- follow the laws, even if you don't agree with them. Be polite to people who are meaner than the devil himself. When she was 13, she came out as a lesbian. There was the third rule broken. To say the least, her family immediately thought the worst of her, even hated her for tarnishing the Kane name. Her boyish haircut and clothes were the final straw. She was disowned by the Kane family. A few years lately, she had gotten tired of it all. She had already broken two of the major laws- how could she be more in more trouble? She escaped to Earth, with high hopes of a better life, just to find out that Earth is just as sick, just in different ways. Kanade Hideki is an ordinary high school girl, who is bullied on a daily basis. She has no idea why she is targeted, when all she wants is friends. She suspects it's to do with her red eyes. She deals with the bullying until one day, Rin Okazaki, a senior student and his younger brother, Kaname stick up for her. Rin demands that she and his brother follow him, and once they're alone, Rin and Kaname explain why only a handful of students are bullied. Kanade, Rin and Kaname are Different. After a death at the school, Kanade runs off only to be followed by Kaname then found by Rin and Kaname's older sister, Emiko who knocks her out. When Kanade wakes up, she's in a new place. Emiko explains to her that the place she was brought to is a sanctuary and school for Differents. This place is called Different High School Institute Sanctuary. Kanade accepts Emiko's offer to live there and attend school like normal, but one thing nags at her, what happened to her parents?

HEHE~~ i did not edit this anymore~~ Is it too late to realize that the environment has gone too far from what it was back then? Our minds seems to wander off through the modern world. Why do my questions not answered yet? Or maybe they are somewhere I never thought they are? Why am I different from others? Or that simply means I'm unique? Follow me,Zoe,as these questions will be answered and other things accomplished and discovered. Are you aware of pollution? Do you understand why we don't know everything? Do you know that you don't have to be like others to be noticed but instead be yourself and believe that you are unique? It may seem like a non-sense but have you entered the modern world? Have you heard about the reasons of sickness, over-curiousness and bullying? This is the story of me, a summation of what makes me unique, and a reminder that we all deserve love. More than that its a call, an evocation to all who feel ordinary, its ok to love yourself and your quiet unknown truths. I revel in my ability to be me and in being me, learning to love myself. I am able to show love to all who allow it. This is a self reflection and a letter to all who need permission to love you in your uniqueness. I wrote this for a wattpadd writing contest.

Wuthering Heights Reimagined: Blackthorn Estate ......The storm bowed before Blackthorn Estate. Lightning split the sky, revealing its jagged silhouette against the city. Elara Vale stepped through the iron gates, and the wind curled around her ankles like a living thing, whispering secrets she had once refused to hear. She has returned. The Estate seemed to remember, shivering with anticipation. "I warned you," she said, trying to keep her voice steady. "This place... it will consume you." He stepped closer. "Then let it. I have waited for you for years. Every moment you were gone, the Estate and I have only grown hungrier." Her breath caught. "We can't survive this." "We won't," he admitted. "But we will burn together."

I like to think that I had this impact on the world, but clearly none of this happened. I turned 18 and everything changed. Hot doctors, old flames, new friends, bad guys and top of everything my own problems. The world itself began to change. This is my story of how I evolved. A personal recount of my life as a girl, in the form of a diary, my best friend.
