Emotions are no longer something we feel.
They are stored, catalogued, and archived - like history, like mistakes.
In our world, no one truly feels anymore.
Love, sorrow, joy, grief - they exist, yes.
But not inside us.
Instead, they live in capsules.
Vibrant little spheres of memory and sensation.
You can choose to experience a moment... then lock it away forever.
I am a Guardian.
A high-level archivist at the Central Sensory Library.
I process thousands of emotions a day - without ever feeling a single one.
That's the rule.
Until the day a capsule appeared on my desk.
Unmarked.
Unregistered.
Unauthorized.
I should have destroyed it.
Instead, I played it.
And for a brief, burning moment,
I felt him.
A memory not mine.
A voice I had never heard.
A pulse, a laugh, a warmth that reached into the hollow spaces inside me.
His name was Eiren.
And now I can't stop reliving the feeling.
The more I return to that capsule,
the more I wonder:
Am I falling for someone who doesn't exist-
or someone I was never meant to find?
