A Secret Service Agent, Hayden Park, age twenty-three, is promoted from a lesser protective role to the PPD. Working in the Secret Service Uniform Division's Specialized Rifle Unit, he must deal with the guilt of a past incident while navigating the immense pressure of his new responsibilities. But when it comes to the death of United States President Joe Lance, Hayden is traumatized by the fact that his father figure has been murdered. He is deeply dedicated to his duty but haunted by the sudden loss of his father a year ago. Now it comes down to who murdered the president and why. As a son figure, Hayden must stand up for justice and dignity in this nation. Hayden partners with FBI Special Agent Cooper Bryant, who investigates the assassination of Joe Lance.
Together, as a team, Hayden and Cooper are determined to find the killer and bring him down before his next attempt to kill another United States president, Liam Will, who is promoted as the newest president after the death of Joe Lance and who will be working in the White House in Washington, D.C. The press, the county, the White House's press secretary, and other officials are desperate for answers. That includes Hayden and Cooper-as well as the Department of Justice. What is the real reason why Joe was murdered? Could it be to ruin the country or to violate the constitution? Or could it be something more than just a president willing to ruin the lives of the people, including his advisors who support his presidential aspirations?
