There's only one way out of this town. Leave now or stay here regretting all the what-ifs. Ember has lived her entire life in a small town where everybody knows each other and there is no secret untold. Her small dream house is located no more than five minutes away from her family's home. Every day is a repitition of the day prior. She plans to attend the college in her town and follow her father's steps by joining his company. On the day of her high school graduation, her best friend offers her the opportunity to travel with her during the summer. Without much thought, Ember refuses. The day before Haley's departure, Ember becomes overwhelmed with all the expectations placed on her. She packs on a whim and takes only what she needs and heads to Haley's. Together they go on a journey with no end point. ~~~~ Just like the journey of Ember and Haley, this story has no direction. I have nothing planned or any certain events that must happen. I plan to just write. Which may be considered a bad idea, but at this point does it matter. I plan to update whenever I come up with an idea. So, they will be very sporadic updates. Hope you enjoy, or at the very least not hate, what ever nonsense comes from mind. *The picture used in the cover is from Sleep On The Floor by The Lumineers, an inspiration for this story.
