In the old Greek age lived Prince Kaeron, second-born son of Basileus Thalios of Myria, a proud coastal kingdom known for its naval strength. Loved by many, the future Basileus who will rule the kingdom. Many knew him, loved him, rooted for him to become the next Basileus, the next king.
Prince Kaeron walks like someone born to lead, charisma, strength, a warrior- shoulders straight, jaw sharp. He is beautiful in a way that unsettles. Some call it divine symmetry; others whisper he looks too perfect, too untouched. No one dares say it aloud, but behind closed doors, questions flicker. His skin lacks the harshness of sun-worn soldiers, his face bears no shadow of a beard even at twenty summers, and his voice is calm - too calm - when shouting at his men. His built while muscular is still slim with an obvious waist, fair smooth skin, narrow hips with wide yet not board shoulders. His surreal beautiful appearance and unusual built sparked questions that no one dared to ask.
What they didn't know was the little secret Kaeron had that only him and his father, Basileus Thalios knew of. kaeron wasn't biologically a male, he was intersex. Masculine yet delicate in a way, in a way that's meant to be hidden. The king, his father. Hid it from everyone, no one knew, and if anyone did they'd be dead. And that's the secret that stayed tamed for years
Apollo is a fierce warrior, trained with Kaeron since youth- knew him more than anyone yet also didn't know him at all. He swore an oath to protect him, to give and take lives for his prince. And he soon realizes that he also has to protect Kaeron from his ownself, because what ran through Apollo towards Kaeron was far more than admiration. It was obsession, love.
