Metaphorically speaking, Sapphire is the act of defiance, and the new guy in town she can't help but chase after is the gravity. Defying the act of falling could not be done when it came to him. Simply because this boy was so dangerously intriguing. It was impossible for Sapphire to stay away, no matter how many bad things she'd heard, despite all the horrific rumors spreading through town about him. It was impossible for her not to fall for this monster.

In stories and movies, the characters tend to do unbelievable things. Like fly, get multiple boys to like her, and look good after a fight. Then there's me, your typical, teenager girl, who can't do anything nearly as awesome as those fictional characters she looks up to. So, yeah, enjoy!
