Auden comes from a family known for its magical abilities. The world views them as saviors while the government sees them as a potential threat. Nyx has a close relationship with Auden and puts himself in between his friend and anyone who seeks to harm him. A new mage rebellion is rising and a darker version of magic has appeared in a new group calling themselves witches. What lies in the future for mages?
