Beatrice is a five-chapter reflective monologue tracing the quiet devastation of a childhood shaped by control, silence, and emotional neglect. Born into hope and named for happiness, Beatrice grows up navigating parental conflict, rigid expectations, and the slow erosion of selfhood. What begins as a story of family migration and sacrifice becomes an intimate study of endurance, of a girl who learns to disappear in order to survive. As the narrative moves through childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood, it resists the language of redemption. There is no singular villain, no dramatic escape, and no neat reconciliation. Instead, the story dwells in the aftermath: dependency that lingers, anger that coexists with gratitude, and a present shaped by wounds that have not yet healed. Beatrice is not a story about overcoming trauma, but about living honestly within it.

As she reads his words, she's pulled back into a whirlwind of emotions and memories. Can she find the strength to forgive and move forward, or is their love gone forever?

In order for a fairy tale to be a fairy tale there has to be a specific set of rules and boundaries set up. These rules consist of a relentless villain, a beautiful but spineless and soft spoken damsel in distress, and of course, her sexy and charming hero. But have you ever noticed that all fairy tales have the one unspoken, almost golden, rule? “What rule is that?” You must be wondering. Well, that rule is; Heroes get dibs. This applies even when the aforementioned hero doesn't exactly deserve his princess. However, this is not a fairy tale and Marcelene Harris is no princess. She’s hardheaded, big mouthed, impulsive, insecure, and always getting into trouble. So typically someone like this -a recipe for disaster- needs a hero, and she has one. So what’s wrong with this picture? Well, she is convinced that her knight in shining armor is dating her best friend and she is NOT happy. Then one night at a wild frat party she meets a mysterious bartender that will have Walt Disney weeping and the Grimm Brothers cheering. He is an absolute game changer and seems to want Marcy for himself. But the problem is he’s not the one who saved her, so he does not have the rights to her heart. Be that as it may, no one seems to give a damn about the typical rules regarding a fairy tale, and with the paparazzi cast as the fire breathing dragon, shit is bound to go down. This leaves our poor damsel juggling two boys, two pasts, two futures, and a crap load of high school drama. How will Marcy ever make it out alive? Or better yet, who will help her make it out alive? *PREVIOUSLY NAMED "COLOR BLIND"*

Some people enter your life early and never really leave they just stop keeping pace. Leaving the Station is a poem born from a dream and the memories it refused to let go of. It speaks of unfinished conversations, quiet goodbyes, first connections, and time passing without permission. This is not a love story. It's what remains after one when you realize you're moving forward, even if a part of you is still waiting.

This is just something I wrote and I was inspired by well, a friend who meant, and still means a lot to me, who decided I wasn't enough? It's complicated. Sometimes, I'm not sure what my purpose is, so I write my thoughts down. I turn them into words on paper. I voice my emotions on a screen, words speaking what my lips could never. A flower. We always have our flower right next to us; whether we know it or not. They could be a romantic partner, a bff, or in my case, a family member. Even so, they can be our flower, but us not theirs. Sometimes it can hurt so badly. Sometimes, it can even kill us. But we hope. We hope that we can still fulfill what they want from us. We hope we can make them happy. But hoping gets us nowhere. It's our actions that do. My actions got me nowhere. Only with a dead family member. My flower. My sister. Goodbye, my little flower. Goodbye, my little dahlia. Goodbye, my sister.
