Isa lang siyang kakilala sa gilid ng araw-araw na buhay sa paaralan. Sa sumunod na school year, nagkataon na naging magkaklase sila. Walang espesyal sa umpisa, hanggang sa unti-unting naging magaan ang usapan at naging natural ang pagiging magkasama. Araw-araw na kwentuhan, simpleng asaran, at mga sandaling hindi nila namalayang nagiging mahalaga na pala ang isa't isa. Isang birthday ang naging simula ng pagbabago-mga pangyayaring nagdulot ng saya, kalituhan, at pagkakamali. Dahil sa isang desisyon, naputol ang komunikasyon at napalitan ng katahimikan ang dating closeness.
