Not every scream is loud. Some are written. I WROTE THIS INSTEAD OF SCREAMING is a collection of prose and poems born from those moments-when emotions grow too heavy to hold and too quiet to be heard. From quiet heartbreaks to overwhelming guilt, from love that lingers to healing that hurts, these pages carry the echoes of everything left unsaid.

She never asked for anything-just a moment, a memory, and a feeling she could never quite let go of. Serenity Lopez has always been the quiet observer-smart, steady, and content with staying behind the scenes. While others chase the spotlight, she watches from the sidelines. Especially when it comes to Xavier Zayn Vergara-the school's golden boy, the SSG President, and the kind of achiever who doesn't just aim for excellence-he becomes it. She liked him since Grade 9. A feeling that started small and, somehow, stayed... even when it had every reason to fade. They were never classmates. Never close. But a few moments, a few glances, and one carefully worded confession changed everything. Or maybe... changed nothing at all. He never rejected her. But he never truly accepted her either. His response was somewhere in between-just enough to leave her wondering, hoping, holding on. Now, in senior high, Serenity is still admiring him from afar-cheering for him in silence, proud of his every success... yet still invisible in his world. This isn't a love story wrapped in gold and glory. It's about a girl who stayed, in a one-sided story.

It started with a message. A joke. A little fun. Anvi wasn't looking for love. Vivaan didn't believe in it. But somewhere between silent hugs, stolen glances, and unspoken feelings - something fragile began to grow. They were never official. There were no promises. No strings. Just two people trying to escape reality for a while... Until reality caught up. In a world where love isn't enough, what do you do with emotions you're not supposed to feel? "When You Said It Was Fun" is a heartfelt story of almosts, maybes, and memories that outlive the moment. A letter never delivered. A feeling never confessed. A love that was never meant to be - and never really left.

He didn't care to fall in love. She didn't believe love existed. She heard his words calling and yet she ignored him. He heard her call him in pain and agony. She was lost in all the words she never heard from ones she loved. Words of sweetness and kindness and instead she heard ones that made her guilty and lost. He didn't say the words of love to her. It crossed his mind, and yet he kept it a secret to even his own mind. But oh, when he did, the stars themselves fell into perfect alignment and the world was high and spinning faster than either of them could comprehend. And while they had these words, there were still things they left unsaid. Things they kept hidden. Words they thought better left unsaid.
