Unseelie Stories

A reimagining of the enchanted fairytale we all know as Sleeping Beauty, in which the evil fairy has a son. ~ The unseelie fae know many stories. Their favourite is that of their mistress's son, Draco. The unseelie prince of thorns. With his vivid eyes and small horns, his brave, kind heart and his unexpected adventures. For when his mother, known as a witch amongst the humans, cast a spell only to be broken by true love's kiss, no one would've expected that Draco would be able to break the curse. No one expected him to love a human princess. No one expected Briar Rose to love him. However, it is for this very reason that the unseelie fae love the story of Draco and how he came to love Briar Rose. How the two of them reunited a realm torn apart, the humans and the fair folk. And how they brought peace and joy amongst their people, creating a story lost with generations to come. ~ This is my entry for the Wattpad ONC 2026 contest.

Or will others, most likely his bitchy ex-queen mother and two faced bubbly ex-fiance, tear them apart?

To save the person you love, what would you be willing to do? 19-year-old Jezebel is about to discover her answer. The bitter winter storm that has blown into the small town of Bedford is hiding something infernal. There is a darkness creeping and only Jezebel has the ability to can see it. Monstrous faeries are hunting, searching for new souls to bring back to the otherworld. Among those hunting is the imprisoned summer prince, Cian. His intentions are muddy at best, but he needs Jezebel. The dark power that has made the people of Bedford fear her also marks her as the only person capable of helping him win his freedom and he'll do anything to get it. When the boy Jezebel loves is struck down trying to protect her Cian strikes a bargain. He will help her return Seth's soul to his body and in exchange, she will help free him by killing the Erlking. Jezebel will have to forsake her humanity and join hands with the enemy if she wants to bring Seth back. She knows faeries can't be trusted but she doesn't see any other options. So, with a deal struck she will travel to the otherworld to kill a king, free a prince, and save the boy she loves.

The Prince needs his help and he'd be damned if he let anyone hurt them.

When the oracle announced that the Seelie and Unseelie courts would be united through the crowned princess and prince of their respective courts, a marriage was arranged immediately. The two would wed once the girl was of age, and the opposing kingdoms would finally be one after centuries of hostility. It is not all that simple, however, when the princess breaks her oath and disturbs the fate of the fae. With war imminent, the princess' cousin makes a rash decision - she must take the place of her dearest friend and risk her own life for the safety and sanctity of her kingdom. The Unseelie court is known to be unforgiving and cruel, the prince especially. With her identity a secret, the cousin has only one option: kill the Unseelie Prince before he discovers who she truly is.

She's learn to deal with giants walking in the forests behind her boarding school, random pixies pulling pranks on other students, but when a faerie court decided to get into her life, things will get a hell of alot more crazy?

Not everything that appears evil is harmful and not everything that appears harmless is in fact innocent. Generations of children have gone to sleep hoping to see her, a tooth tucked under their pillows. There have been a few privileged individuals who have seen her...but what if the story we know began differently? Tise, a fairy from the Seelie court, is subjected to changes that eventually lead her to him, a fairy who is her complete opposite. But after making a terrible mistake that leaves her alone, she will only have three days to fix everything, but all the decisions she makes in her journey, whether good or bad, will ultimately lead her to a single path: To the origin of the character for which she is known. Through this retelling, you may learn that her story is not like other tales and that the tooth fairy does not collect teeth simply for the purpose of collecting teeth. Every tale has a beginning, and Tise's is not one full of magic, but trial and loss.

There are things worse than death... Valencia Faelen never wanted to be anything more than a normal person. She was just one amongst a thousand Altered- humans that are given the blood of fantastical creatures to enhance their natural abilities. The Council made her into one of the abominations that fit in nowhere except amongst those that created them. Neither human nor supernatural, Valencia often went unnoticed by those around her. There was nothing special about her talents or her heritage, until she learned to defy her masters. The Council morphed her into a trained killer by the age of sixteen. She killed the enemies of the Council to ensure her survival. It was the only way to guarantee that she didn't turn into a Rabid- the humans that were given too much supernatural blood- and go insane. By age eighteen, she was a killer on the wrong side of a bounty that would change her life. That was what happened to tools that outlived their use, but Valencia would fight even harder to gain freedom for her people.
