Since then Ash has served as little more than a slave on his family's farm. When dark secrets he was never meant to know are revealed he has a choice to make. Will he let everything he's ever known and loved fall to ruin or will he risk everything to save everyone?

The world of fae is crueler than it seems, the Court struggling to maintain their grip on the wild places of the human realm as industry swells and devours the forests and meadows. The time is fast approaching for drastic measures, and the Fae have little sympathy for those without their magic. A young boy plays with his friends in the woods as something dark lurks in the trees nearby. Unbeknownst to him he lives between two worlds, belonging to both and neither. A vow made years ago threatens to sway him one way or the other- only time can reveal the choice he will make. Author's Note: My 2017 NaNoWriMo rewritten for my 2022 NaNoWriMo! Their favourite is that of their mistress's son, Draco. The unseelie prince of thorns. With his vivid eyes and small horns, his brave, kind heart and his unexpected adventures. For when his mother, known as a witch amongst the humans, cast a spell only to be broken by true love's kiss, no one would've expected that Draco would be able to break the curse. No one expected him to love a human princess. No one expected Briar Rose to love him. However, it is for this very reason that the unseelie fae love the story of Draco and how he came to love Briar Rose. How the two of them reunited a realm torn apart, the humans and the fair folk. And how they brought peace and joy amongst their people, creating a story lost with generations to come. ~ This is my entry for the Wattpad ONC 2026 contest.

A war wages between the fae and the humans. This war has lasted over 150 years and shows no signs of peace. The war started with the Humans trying to take the power of the fae for themselves. Though faes are magical beings, they are not immortal. Their weakness: purified iron. Titania, Daughter of Kiaia, a halfling with no wings, tries to figure out her place in the realm of fairies. Kaia could not hide her daughter's ability forever from the Queen of Elysian, the land of the Seelie's royalty. Upon discovery, Titania is requested to be trained as a High Priestess to the Seelie court. In the court, Titania has captured the interest of a certain shadow fae. With the war waging on, Titania has to find a way to save her own people and protect her loved ones.

Before, Kieran was an assassin, blessed and cursed at the same time to kill as his King demanded. Before, he was an Unseelie, feared and loved. He would've done anything for the royal family, for the Prince. And he did. Now, he's an exile, not quite human and not quite Unseelie. After the Seelie took over, he was banished to earth. For two years, he pretended to be someone he's not. He suffered through nightmares and memories. However, people are getting injured and even dying. The Unseelie need Kieran's help. The Prince needs his help and he'd be damned if he let anyone hurt them.

Especially after one night that changed her life forever. _______ Just a side note - Don't read this book if you want a frilly romance where the main character is a helpless girl and has to be saved by their big manly mate or whatever. This isn't that type of story - although there is definitely romance because I fucking love romance and honestly couldn't live without it in books. What I'm trying to say is don't expect some basic 'omg I'm weak and need my soulmate to constantly save me sorta thing'. But still, give my book a go!! Who knows, you might actually like it.

I was running, I wasn't running from someone or some animals, but some awful creature. I could always see them and hear their vulgar comments. Most of their faces were beautiful, but that's what they want humans to see. Whenever they are around I have two rules that if I don't follow them, they could discover that I can actually see them. Do not acknowledge their presence Never let your guard down They are fearies. Cunning creatures that could snap someone's neck with just a couple of thoughts. Fearies are immortal creatures that cover their true selves with glamours. The fearies choose glamours that make themselves inhumanly beautiful, but that's just their true selves peeking through. I've spent all of my life running yet staying in the same spot. Ever since I could remember, I could see them. With the gift of seeing fearies, I can also see humans' emotions swirling around them, which are their auras. That's how I can tell the fearies apart from the humans, the fearies simply do not have auras. Their auras completely invisible to my eyes and they are completely invisible to the human eye unless they want to be seen. And now I have to survive with them watching my everymove.

There is another side to the human realms that the mortals care not to remember. It is full of delicate politics, betrayal and festivity and a bloody war that has raged for eons. This world is Faerie. The two courts of Faerie, the Seelie and Unseelie are warring over a wrong committed millenniums ago and only a mortal can unite the courts and stop the blood shed but said mortal doesn't even believe in himself, let alone in Faeries. There's only two things he believes in. One; Everybody lies when they want something and two; The truth always comes out, no matter how hard you try to hide it.

The faes have long been divided into two separate courts: the Seelie and the Unseelie court even before earth was created. The two courts were divided for several reasons, one of which was that they couldn't coexist peacefully. Now about ten thousand centuries later, the kings of both kingdoms decide to put the next generation of royalty together. Therefore Cahal and her friends who are Seelie royalty are sent to the Unseelie academy where they are placed in the same class as the Unseelie royalty. Can they coexist peacefully? After all, Cahal and her friends are used to doing things as they like...but so are the Unseelie royal younglings. Either way, Cahal is going to find enemies, friends, friends who want to be more than friends and maybe love even as she walks into the Unseelie academy.

A/N: This is an idea I had based on the Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa. This is crazy. If Mab, Oberon or Titiana catches me, a summer faery with a winter faery, I'll be killed. Or banished from the Nevernever forever. But as I gazed upon the young girl, I knew I couldn't not be with her. Her waist length coffee colored hair and violet eyes. Her soft features, and lack of grace. You would think a member of the Unseelie court, like the rest, would be very graceful. But she stumbled frequently. She wasn't a delicate twig like all other Unseelie women. She had curves, which were uncommon. There was something completely different about the new Unseelie Princess, and it wasn't icy Unseelie blood running through her veins. There was something pure about her. Completely untouched by the icy talons of winter. I could see that those talons were trying to dig into her core, turn her heart into a heart not only covered, but made of ice, much like the Unseelie kingdom. The Snowflake Princess.

On Ember's 17th birthday she starts to see creatures spying on her from the shadows and bushes outside the orphanage, and starts to develop strange power. She goes on a search for her biological parents and unknowing ends up getting thrown into the middle of a war between fae kingdoms. It's a tug a war between kingdoms to gain this power and use it to win the war for their kingdom.
