A reflection on being unheard in spaces that demand celebration. This poem explores silence, self-recognition, and learning to applaud oneself when others won't.

14-year-old Wesley Adams is your normal recently-graduated eighth grader. He likes taking walks around town, hanging out with his twin Morgan, cheerleading and acrobatics, and helping anyone he sees in trouble. His most recent neighborhood rescue turns Wesley and his family's lives upside-down with her otherworldly enemies and lack of "mortal" knowledge. Still, Wesley won't let his newfound friend, or her enemies, ruin his summer vacation. - ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ There are details of injury throughout this story which not everyone may be comfortable with. Reader discretion is advised. - I want to make it clear that the sibling relationships may seem unrealistic. However, my younger sibling and I actually get along! They're my favorite person! So I'm trying to emulate that energy throughout the story. I'm posting the WIP here as I update it. Not polished, and I don't have a beta reader. If you have any suggestions, please let me know! This is a story about Zane Daniel, a 16 year old young man who is happy with his life. He's an only child, his parents love each other, and he has the best of friends he could ask for. But what he doesn't have is the guy he's liked since freshmen year. The guy that he's never even uttered a word to, the guy that's never even looked at him, Josh James. He thinks he's happy just watching Josh from a distance and being unseen, until one day he gets a new tutor and things turn upside down. (I'm sorry I'm shitty at writing descriptions but I hope you enjoyed it enough to start reading)

"Between Whispers and Thunder" is a collection of poems that breathes life into the overlooked, the abandoned, and the unseen. Set during the First World War, the story intends to explore the different perspectives of two individuals through a series of letters. Some meant to be read, some not. This version shows a life cut short by war, with love and hope tucked away in his pocket. He died holding onto words meant for someone who would never know the truth. Another version, written in collaboration with @enjayj - a quiet life, marked by the memory of someone he could never forget. His letters remained unsent, his love folded away with the parts of himself the world was never meant to see.

The story about a group of friends that decided to stay longer at school to study for their final exam. They ended up staying there until 12:00AM and there's a rumor going around the school that if you stay at that school until 12 you will be haunted by an unseen creature that will eat you whole. They didn't believe in that kind of stuff. Until one by one they started disappearing, will they escape on time or will they meet their doom?
