Allen is unaware of Reed's condition and often finds Reed standing in the water, not looking at slightest bit out of normal. Although Allen gets the idea of why Reed is unsteady, he doesn't necessarily believe him. The boys get along in front of their parents and elders, but when left alone the boys are at each other necks. Until one day.
