Someone's words can lead things in a whole new direction. They can change your life. A small story in which two kids meet and spend their lives. There's some snow, mochi, hair, and ash. Lots of ash. ~~~ About the Content: **content/trigger warning for:** - only mentioned, but an unsupportive family (hajime's family) - described world-ending conditions (burning, rubbled houses, destroyed nature, all that) - the bombing of Hiroshima (you can also see it as the despair disaster, cause it can technically go both ways.) - potential angst...? or cringe idk - ocean (lightly touched on, potential warning for anyone w/ sensetive thalassaphobia) - self-degration/invisibility - neglect - death (all characters) please read with these in the back of your head! i tried to lay off on anything heavy, so its not going to be really intense. most of these are only alluded to or used as themes, so don't worry too much with that, i hope you enjoy!!!

They go through a lot of emotional and mental abuse as they struggle to be understood and loved for who they are. It's a tough thing to be told by your family that you'll be loved, accepted, and supported no matter what and then you realize some things only to hear your family to take back those words. Will they make it through their journey?

Being the oddball in a square society is exhausting. A Broken Dream is a poem I wrote a while back about the exhaustion of being transgender when living with unsupportive people.
