For every moment I was smiling, or laughing, or talking, I now know that I had taken it for granted. Because those moments don't come when you are alone. I thought I had nothing until I lost more than that. Because I might have felt lonely before, but now I am less than that. Now I am alone. The once broken world is less than it was before. The society which I had wished didn't exist is gone. Everything is gone, just like everyone's humanity. The things from movies became reality, except for the happy endings. The silence which I once craved has grown over like mold in a dark, damp basement. I used to think the noise was deafening until the silence became just that. Because now I was alone. But I wait. I fight. I fight for a tomorrow as insignificant as I may still be because if there is one, it has to be better than today. I fight because if I didn't I'd grow impatient. Impatient of being alone.
