In a world where the Red String of Fate is real - but invisible to the naked eye - a rare neurological condition called "Red String Effect" grants a handful of people the ability to see this thread that connects destined lovers. These individuals are called Stringbearers. Eighteen-year-old Layla Monroe is one of them. Haunted by a past mistake that led her to reveal the truth about the red thread to the wrong person, Layla lives in isolation - refusing to get involved, refusing to interfere. Until she sees something impossible: a boy with no string at all. Luca Vegas has no memory of his past. No records. No family. And now, no future - until Layla becomes obsessed with figuring out why he seems unbound by fate. As she digs deeper, the red strings around her begin to writhe, twisting and tangling in ways they never have before. People's destinies start to unravel. Relationships collapse, and Layla begins to wonder: What if fate isn't exactly a gift? What if it's a trap? With time running out, Layla must decide whether to protect the rules of the universe - or break them completely to save a boy who was never meant to exist.

*New cover coming soon! Waterfall is an extraordinary SeaWing. She meets a RainWing/SandWing hybrid named Dorado. Then they meet another friend, a MudWing named Everglade. Together, they find an animus-cursed object. An animus dragon is a dragon with the ability to enchant objects with speech or thought. But with each spell, depending on how big a spell, eats away the animus's soul bit by bit, until they go insane. Unless the animus enchants something to protect their soul. Everglade is horrified. The MudWing queen accidentally touches it and becomes evil. The threesome struggle and toil to find a solution for the MudWing queen. Can they find a cure? Or will the MudWings have an evil ruler for as long as the queen lives(which will be a long, long, LONG time)? The threesome continue to struggle and try to figure out how to help, but then a mysterious goo suddenly ppears out of SEEMINGLY nowhere in the Sky Kingdom... Can they help the SkyWings AND save the queen before it's too late? This is by inspiration from Tui T. Sutherland's Wings of Fire series. There will be my own characters and Tui's mixed together. If you haven't read the series already, I recommend it, it's really exciting with lots of plot twists. And, of course, credits to Tui, because Wings of Fire is hers, not mine. This is my first story as a Wattpad writer. Please excuse any typos, spelling errors, punctuation errors, ect. (Also search up Dorado in Google or somewhere, and go into images. (The result is VERY disturbing...) I will try to update as often as I can. Cover art is mine. I hope you enjoy it! *Started since I was 10(2023) (I don't know the exact date, sorry guys)

What if the afterlife were just another department of the State? Frank had one plan: jump off a building and end it all. What he didn't expect was to gently float to the ground like a bureaucratic Mary Poppins-minus the umbrella or job satisfaction. Now Frank can't seem to die, and worse, someone (or something) clearly doesn't want him to. Soon he's being monitored, manipulated, and mysteriously assigned to surveil his coworker Jill. Who's watching who? Why does he keep getting new phones stuffed into his pockets? And what's with the man in the dumpster who won't stop talking about climate change? Caught between mind-numbing office reports, bowel-obsessed childhood trauma, and a cosmic surveillance program with suspiciously corporate workflows, Frank has questions. Unfortunately, the only answer he's getting is: keep watching Jill... and don't forget to post about it. A darkly absurd comedy about surveillance, mortality, and mid-level management, Department of Eternal Affairs is perfect for fans of Christopher Moore, The Good Place, and Kafka for Dummies.
