"Does it really hurt?" the interviewer asked and I stared at him in awe. My attention was completely diverted to his lack of sensitivity.
"Of course." I replied after what felt like an hour and he immediately removed his gaze on me.
"If you had the chance to go back in time, would you change a thing?"
"I'd change everything."
If I never met him that night, if he never saw me and I never saw him, we would never give it a chance. And maybe -- just maybe, he's still alive , even if he would be in someone's arms instead of mine's. That would be more than enough.
Because I would rather not feel any happiness at all than feel this kind of pain, this grief.
"I would change every single thing." I repeated.
