IT SAYS SOONER BECAUSE I UNPUBLISHED AND REPUBLISHED. 😭 Edited: Holy Schieße, this was the first fanfiction I ever created, and woah the nostalgia is kicking. It's not really good, but has a lot of my memories encased within the pages. This WAS for the miracolina/lev fandom, but now it's discontinued, as I have grown up a little from 2 years ago.

After the second civil war, unwinding becomes legal. Unwinding allows parents to sign a document to let go of their child and have their organs harvested, as long as they're from the age of 13 to 18. Unwinds are these unfortunate kids. Irene, Wendy, Kingsley and Milo are some of these unlucky victims, who have to run away from the unwinding process... but that's easier said then done. But, maybe with just a shred of luck, they'll manage to make it to the age of 18. (This is an Unwind fanfic! It's just based on the idea of the story, so there will not be any spoilers if you haven't read the story! Also, go read the book, it's really good!)

So if you find an other story exactly like this, don't worry no one is breaking any copyright laws. (NOTE: I did not write this paragraph) In America after the Second Civil War, the Pro-Choice and Pro-Life armies came to an agreement: The Bill of Life states that human life may not be touched from the moment of conception until a child reaches the age of thirteen. Between the ages of thirteen and eighteen, however, a parent may choose to retroactively get rid of a child through a process called "unwinding." Unwinding ensures that the child's life doesn't "technically" end by transplanting all the organs in the child's body to various recipients. Now a common and accepted practice in society, troublesome or unwanted teens are able to easily be unwound. (This part I wrote) This story focuses on a 15 year old girl, Alexandra "Alex" Lumi Shea. She was that girl you saw walking down the hall and wished you were. She was popular, pretty, lived the perfect life, and was head cheerleader at West Monroe High School, not to mention when she sang it sounded like Heaven. Her Life was perfect..... until she finds out that her dad is not actually her dad.. Rachel finds out she is to be unwound a week before she's supposed to be taken away to a Harvest Camp. She has the natural reaction. She grabs some of her things, gets her bestie, Heather, and they take off.

There's a street lamp on the side of 58 street where the light is dying so the illumination is dim. I saw him there just admiring what was behind the light. I didn't know what it was until it was to late.

"One of the greatest tragedies in life is to lose your own sense of self and accept the version of you that is expected by everyone else." They say your reflection shows who you are inside. Well, the one in the mirror doesn't really do that job so I figured that this might. These words reflect my thoughts and thereby, I guess form my reflection. "Reflection" is a collection of poems and my thoughts which I've penned down which help me find myself along the way. I hope it does the same for you guys too and if nothing else, it'll help someone out there realise that they're not alone and probably do the same for me too.
