The story revolves around two generation of 80s and 21st about a family in Belarus and the corresponding family in Madhya Pradesh, India. Lena Valosky Singh and her daughter Nisha Singh of Bhopal. The intense love story and betrayal and shattering the social fabric which was knitted tightly from generation to generation. The amalgamation of two cultures and two religions and the Shunting of society. The so called shame and societal ignorance and hindrance. We did not know whether Nisha was strong enough to shun her upbringing and so called culture and the obsessive love of her grandmother Sarojim. Will she ditch her family and culture and religion and embrace new culture and religion. Will her love for Peter Lawsky withstand the test of time and pressure from family and society as a whole or will they succummed to the pressure of family drama. The same drama her father had faced and could not tear the closely knitted social fabric and was forced to lead a dual life not even having the courage to make his wife stay with him and forced to marry the alcoholic woman. Will Nisha be able to leave everything and e everyone and settle in an alien country? Will Singh family allow the treachery the second time? Will the 21st century with the advent of social media and openness of the society tolerate the social amalgamation? This story is a fictional imagination of the author considering and comparing the societal norms. Any critical analysis and write up which might have hurt the sentiments of any caste, creed or religion May please be overlooked and please take it with the pinch of salt. My story is not to judge anyone and some words which might have hurt somebody please they are not intentional and I apologise to anyone who might be hurt. This story is purely a work of fiction and Fri ends enjoy reading.

Oh look you didn't decide to just judge a book by its name or cover much like people do their fellow man sadly everyday. Thank you for not being judgmental! A COLLECTION OF SHORT MEMOIRS This is a collection of short memoirs based on different periods, people, and moments in my life. I shall be submitting works as they come to me. Every time arranging them in chronological order of the subject manner of the pieces. So if you like a story and don't see it that doesn't mean I have taken it off the site. It just means I am in the process of rearranging the content of the collection as a whole or more simply already have and ya just need to find where the story you like is presently in the shuffle. Eventually I shall post a true foreword but for now I need to get some stories put in here ;) Furthermore maybe the quilt work of all these shorter memoirs shall one day become a true blanket. ABOUT THE TITLE Note how I say love ones not lovers. That is to say friends and family (F&F). First and foremost I would say the variety of people in my life is what has shaped it most, not my experiences with different religions, hardships, etc. I strongly believe that people should not exist in a vacuum and that individuals should have others around them. The title is meant to reflect that while also indicating to an extent that these are memoirs. Yes some times they focus on others in my life but they are told from my point of view. Hence the stories are stories about me or my stories about people I have known not stories of people I have known (if that makes sense).

Fog swallows the field whole as Theodore stands with a scarf across his eyes - the world sees only a valedictorian, a student handpicked for greatness, but that shine hides the truth he keeps locked away. A crow slices through the gray air, seen as smart and steady from far off, yet it moves through hidden spaces just as he does. His papers are marked with perfect grades, his shelf lined with trophies of success, but no one notices how he tucks away letters or erases traces of who he really is. Then the bird lands and cries out as he pulls the scarf free. The mist hasn't lifted, yet he stands firm on his feet, for higher marks couldn't silence the truths he couldn't speak.
