Instead of staying at the old mans place Tanjiro continues running up the mountain. As he arrives at his house he sees Muzan choking Nezuko. But Tanjiro risks it all leaving his sister coughing up blood in the snow, injured but alive with a stone cold resolution. She would kill Muzan.
