Jennifer, an only child has been living with her grandparents for most of her life. Jenni's mother passed away giving birth to her, and her father passed away from cancer shortly afterwards. When Jenni gets the news that her best friend growing up, Maria is moving to Australia, Jenni gets permission to move in with her. But moving there comes with a lot of new and different experiences that they both were not ready for.
