A personal dive into my life as an urban explorer, also known as an Urbexer. From glorious adventures filled with joy and thrill, to heart-wrenching misadventures engulfed in chaos and despair, all while soaked in adrenaline, dust, asbestos, and reflection. Explore the many characters that the world of Urbex brought upon me, varying from train-surfers to police officers. This first volume serves as an attestation of my emergence and journey as an Urbexer and where it has led me as an individual There is a myth about us, Urbexers being criminals - I hope these chronicles help disprove that. Cameron Oakland has always been a stereotypical 'good boy' always working hard in classes, making his parents proud, but what happens when a new boy transfers in mid class to shift his good nature to one of rebellion?? Disclaimer - I don't own My Time At Sandrock. This was written for the orange belt for Write to Rank 2022. The prompt was to write a 750-800 word story where, "urban exploration is a hobby, but tonight something feels...wrong. What happens?" I also have to write in an active voice. Originally I was going to focus on the builder's hometown and the use of gliding to explore that urban area, but then I looked into what urban exploring is and realize that exploring abandoned buildings is what one does when one relic hunts counts. For those who don't know the fandom, the Corrupted Age is what led to the post-appocaluptic setting and from that there are a lot of abandoned buildings.
