What if Link's origin story, was with the Yiga? What if the reason he met the champions and the Princess was because he was on a Murder mission? Know we'll know with an alternate beginning to the Botw timeline!

Both based on and inspired by TremorDusk's "Breath of the Wild; Champions Group Chat" Wattpad story, this fanfiction goes into detail with the Champions' personal lives outside of fighting, whether it be random or just strange. [DISCONTINUED] The Champions' successors may have heard legends, or even met their elders from one-hundred years ago. These are some poems that they may have written to, or about the champions.

Once Upon A Time, there lived a Princess and a Knight. Both were destined to save the Kingdom of Hyrule from certain demise. They, alongside four chosen warriors, were well prepared for Calamity. And yet... four years passed after the pulling of the sword. Many wondered if this prophecy of apocalypse was simply fiction. During this time, the Knight and Princess wedded and had two children, Lily and Hyden Bosphoramus. But on the day of their son Hyden's birth, that Calamity struck. Hyrule was taken by surprise, all four champions, Mipha, Urbosa, Revali, Daruk including the King were killed. In an attempt to save her husband and children. Princess Zelda, unlocked her power and temporarily sealed Ganon away in the Castle. Prince Link, alongside his children were kept in the chamber of resurrection until their fatal wounds healed. When he awoke, he vowed to protect his children from Calamity Ganon and train his daughter until she herself could unlock her promised sealing powers and seal Ganon. Only Lily, his only daughter, could seal Ganon away. For he was sure his wife was dead. And only he could defeat Ganon. For he was sure he was the only one to hold the sword.

The Champions come back for one final short meeting. (Post-Age of Calamity)

(Based off AOC and BOTW timelines) When Link first meets the champions, they all get off to a wonderful start- except for with the peculiar Rito, Revali. He's arrogant and cocky, and is constantly making jabs at the silent knight as well as the other Champion's. But the clock's ticking on the time the Champions and the princess have left, meaning Revali and Link will have to. learn to tolerate each other and even create a bond... but getting attached to someone is a danger to the heart, especially when that someone is a brave warrior or Hyrule's savior-- both destined to die at the hands of evil. But, a story on pause doesn't mean it's over, now does it?

I'll just get to it. *long sigh* Okay so I just wanted to say something after...I don't even know how long of being Wattpad dead, it's amazing that over 1000 people have seen this story. Though looking back I think everything here is super stupid and crappy, it's also so nostalgic and I'm amazed that this many people read it. So thank you!
