In the Kingdom of Virene, most magic has been outlawed. Arsene and a few others who have magic have been declared outlaws and forced into hiding. After meeting Alfie, things go horribly wrong. He, Alfie, and Arsene's two friends Lainey and Amira have to flee beyond the protective walls of their kingdom into a demon infested wilderness. Cooking up a plan to use his magic and some crucial information provided by Alfie, Arsene is determined to make the kingdom better for everyone.
