Illumiphos, prince of Urusia, feels stuck in his royal life, and although the Laskehill battle school offers interest, he finds himself wanting more. Rumours of mysterious forces joining the usual battles and soldiers going missing leads the Urusian army needing more recruits. Will Illumiphos choose to join the fight, possibly uncovering dark secrets about the kingdoms past? Or will he become the prince his father always wanted him to be?
