Master Sergeant Grant Baker has lived a blessed life. He has his dream job, married his high school sweetheart and has three smart, healthy, though sometimes sassy children. However dangerous, his role as Team Chief with Alpha Company, 2nd Marine Raider Battalion has always left him feeling as if he is making a difference in the world along with his brother Marines. Then the unthinkable happened on the anniversary of his nation's independence in a foreign land and everything changed. Little more than a year after the injuries and loss he suffered that day, and just when he was given a sliver of hope for the future from his lifelong best friends, he meets Marcel Durand. Supposedly a Fish and Wildlife Service Officer but actually a former French Legionnaire and formidable operator in his own right, Durand is searching for a long fabled treasure hidden somewhere along the Mississippi River by the long dead river pirates of the early 19th century. Eventually there is only one thing separating Durand from what he believes is his rightful inheritance, and his name is Grant Baker. Follow Grant's journey through despair and depression as he regains the vision of the warrior he once was, his endeavor to enact vengeance upon those who caused the loss that so destroyed him all while overcoming both the internal obstacles of his own making and the external that Durand and his followers present along the way.

Special in many ways, she now has to overcome her own insecurities if she wants to keep pace with the demands of the job... Original Character story with no AU (should fit it in with the canon).

A doctor in the United States Air Force has a serious car crash. As he awakes from a coma he sees his life in a different light. We hear his side of the story alternating with his wife's side. The conflicts between the two people become the focus of the story.

Kit looses some important people and can't seem to recover from the trauma...

This is a story that I made up and has to do a bit of what I want to do when I'm 18. My brother is in the Air Force Security Forces. I have mad respect for the military and what they do. I pray for all of the troops. To all of those who have fallen I pray for them and there families. I will become the next female airmen. ~Alexa

However, during a routine practice mission, something happens that sends her to a completely different world where she finds the kind of fulfillment she had always dreamed of. The story follows the life of David, a young man whose reckless and unusual past (previously being the spotlight of his team mates and coworkers), made him want to be alone for the rest of his life; before, following his life principles where he devoted to protect those whom he cared, he now finds himself in a dead end with no one to protect or care for, (living with apparently no goal in his life), until an unexpected meeting happens with someone who might change it all and again, he might live once again for said principles he abandoned, however David finds himself reluctant to help this person even when he promised to help those who needed a helping hand and this person is one of these. Why is this? Could it be the result of a series of unfortunate episodes in his life or maybe the young man just got tired of fighting for his principles and the cause he once used to believe and fight for? Dependerá de Aiden, Brianna ,Pops y sus demás camaradas pilotos de distintas fuerzas aéreas , doblegar el dominio de la NAUSF sobre el continente Asiático ; antes de que se hagan con el arsenal nuclear de todo el continente. Puesto en el Universo de mi historia anterior "Un nuevo horizonte", solo que sin sus personajes. Catalogado como fanfic pues hay personajes inspirados en personajes de ace combat.
