Cada quinientos años, durante siete días y por unas horas, la luna se vuelve de un tono totalmente rojizo. Conocido así como "Red Moon" o "Luna roja"; éste es visitado por los enamorados, quienes, según cuenta una antigua leyenda, al besarse bajo ella se unirán por toda la eternidad en cuerpo y alma. Las cosas cambian totalmente cuando unas extrañas desapariciones comienzan a suceder en los mejores puntos desde donde se ve la luna. Esto no habría sido nada anormal, de no ser porque éstas desapariciones comenzaron a afectar incluso a las Sailor Scouts. Dejando a Serena y Seiya como los únicos que pueden resolver el caso.
